PHONE CALLS
Campers will have scheduled phone calls home during the summer. There will be pre-scheduled dates and times where campers will have the opportunity to call home and speak with their parents. The calling schedule is located in the Parent Handbook and also in your ChipInTouch account Camp Chipinaw & Silver Lake
CAMPANION
Campanion is a mobile app that connects you with your child’s camp experience like never before. Campanion takes the content we create at camp and organizes it into a curated stream that’s customized specifically for you. A special feature of the app is Face Finder, which searches through all camp photos to find your child. When you upload your child's picture you will be prompted to allow push notifications. Make sure that you enable all push notifications to stay up to date during the summer.
Campers must write home at least 3 times per week. We strongly encourage parents to send their child with a stationary kit and stamps and an address book. Bunk numbers are not necessary when writing to your camper, we have staff member who work in our mail room sorting mail daily.
